Bolivia is located in the interior of South America. The main terrain is the plateau. The average elevation of more than 3,000 meters is called the 'plateau country'. Due to the difficulty of laying optical cables in complex terrain, the national communication is backward, which brings inconvenience to people's lives. To solve this problem, Bolivia introduced satellite communication technology from China, and China Aerospace exported the domestic communication satellite to the country and completed the construction of the project, and then delivered it to the other party.
The satellite communication system consists of three parts: satellite terminal, ground terminal and user terminal. The ground station is the interface between the satellite system and the ground public network. The ground users can also form a link through the ground station to form a link ground station, including the ground satellite control center, and its tracking, telemetry and command stations. Satellite ground stations are an important and indispensable part. However, since the completion of the satellite ground monitoring station in 2014, the low-voltage power distribution system has been repeatedly subjected to lightning strikes, especially the ups damage is the most serious, which seriously affects the normal communication in Bolivia.
Kiloamp technology believes that all satellite antennas are high and easy to mine. Direct lightning strikes generally hit the antenna itself. Some lightning currents can be discharged through the antenna's own lightning protection system. However, some lightning electromagnetic pulses are still very easy to interfere with the line. The line will sense an overcurrent, and the induced lightning current will invade into the equipment room along the line, causing ups damage and even casualties. Therefore, the focus of protection is on the power supply line. According to the basic principle of lightning protection of the power system, it is necessary to classify the power line. That is, it is necessary to separately install the I-level lightning protection device, the second-level lightning protection device, and the third-level lightning protection device in the total power distribution and distribution of the power supply line. Lightning devices, even the front end of the equipment, need to be equipped with an Iv class lightning protection device. Through program improvements, lightning disaster losses have been significantly reduced.
